Payment Policy

Payment is due when services are rendered. Visa, MasterCard, Debit and Cash are accepted methods of payment. We do accept assignment from dental benefits. Any remaining balance is patient portion, and due at the time of appointment.

Dental Benefits

The Dental & Implant Clinic @ Lansdowne will accept any major Canadian dental benefits programs. We will file the claim to the dental benefits company on the patient’s behalf and will provide an estimate of treatment costs;  however we cannot guarantee the dental benefits company will provide full estimated coverage. We accept direct settlement from dental benefits plans, which means that you will be asked to pay only that portion of the total fee estimated to be your cost. At all times, however, you are responsible for all fees and costs not settled by your dental benefits plan.

Appointments

Each appointment is time sensitive, and reserved specifically for your treatment. Our team will do the utmost to respect our patients’ time. Our office is open extended hours for the convenience of our patients, and in consideration of their work schedule and children’s school responsibilities. By being open 7 days a week, as well as being open mall hours, we can meet your dental health care needs at a time that is convenient for you.

Cancellation Policy

The goal of Dental & Implant Clinic @ Lansdowne is to serve the needs of all patients, especially those in acute pain. There are many times when our patients require urgent or emergency treatment and  therefore require and appointment as soon as possible. Our practice policy is that patients wishing to change their commitment to scheduled appointments for the sake of their convenience must give the practice a minimum of  48 hours notice. When patients give the clinic advanced notice of their need to reschedule an appointment, this time can in turn, be allocated to these patients in need of urgent treatment. If less than 48 hours notice is given to reschedule an appointment, a fee will be charged. In the event that no notice is given and a patient does not show up for their scheduled appointment , a no show fee will be charged.

Please note that dental benefits companies do not cover the fees for broken appointments, therefore payment is the patient’s responsibility.
